CCAPI has been involved in the COVID-19 relief efforts in the charlotte community. We have donated 2500 dollars to the Matthews help center(matthewshelpcenter.org) towards their efforts to mitigate hunger and poverty in the homeless people of mathews area.

We also donated masks to the underserved community of Grier Heights neighborhood.
The annual GB meeting was held at Maggianos at Southpark. We are delighted to welcome the new members to Gcaapi. The meeting was highlighted by the visit from the Cty council member Lawanna Mayfield and the Representative from the Asian chamber of commerce, AHPC.
We were also delighted to host the Heart to Heart Foundation - Sheila Caldwell. she was very informative about the heart initiatives for women and the collaboration with GCAAPI.
The entertainment for the evening provided was by a charitable non-profit band who donated the proceeds to Sanghamitra foundation !! The evening was very melodious and enjoyable thanks to the efforts of the executive team and especially the President Shantala Gopalakrishnan.

We intend to start a YPS-MS section for the organisation with New and resident physicians/medical students.
